The workflow
1. Model creation
A master model is required for the fabrication of precise all-ceramic restorations. The static upper and lower jaw models are articulated in order to simulate the dynamic movement of the lower jaw in relation to the upper jaw in the articulator.
2. CAD / CAM restorations
Digital production of wax frameworks and restorations for the all-ceramic pressing technique and casting technique with alloys.
3. Separating & Grinding
Cutting, grinding, separating and processing by means of rotating instruments as well as surface processing by blasting of the manufactured frameworks and restorations after the milling, pressing or casting process.
4. Layering & Veneering
Aesthetic optimization of all-ceramic restorations through cut-back and individualizing layering technique. Characterization of all-ceramic restorations by staining and glazing.
5. Polishing & Finishing
Achieving an optimum surface structure of the all ceramic restorations for the best possible esthetic, plaque resistance and good abrasion behavior towards the antagonist.
